As of the beginning of spring semester, 2014, COC adjunct faculty are compensated for Flex professional development activities for each fall and spring semester as follows:

• 5 hours at instructional rate
• 4 hours at non-instructional rate

Non-instructional rate is set at 65% of instructional rate.

Non-flex professional development activities and special duties approved by the department chair may be included in the above compensation schedule.

Non-credit faculty who attend College sponsored FLEX and approved department activities will earn up to 9 hours of FLEX at their regular pay rate for each fall and spring semester.
